Offshore wind energy development in Michigan’s Great Lakes is technically feasible, but is it an appropriate use of this treasured resource? The West Michigan Wind Assessment team at Grand Valley State University, led by Dr. Erik Nordman, reviewed studies from around the world on how coastal residents perceive offshore wind farms.
